Step Into An Edwardian Moment in Time

  This April 11th  and 12th Visit the Abernethy-Shaw House as it Might Have Been in 1919. The Great War Has Ended! Women Almost Have the Vote! During this April's Talladega Pilgrimage Tour the Abernethy-Shaw House wants to invite you to an Edwardian Historical Experience during the 2025 Tour of Homes.  It's a pleasant Spring weekend in 1919 and the couple residing at 504 East Street South have weekend guests. Friends from Minnesota are visiting. Joan the retired dancer is introducing the group to a dance form she has been rigorously studying, the authentic Hula.  Her husband, a former baseball player is meeting with team owners and promoters across the South seeking to standardize the Rules of Baseball and make the National Sport more honest and above board. They have been joined by Lenny Deluxe and his wife Anne just back from a tour of Norway.
